Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

We are at 227 East 11th Street in Tracy, on 11th Street by Tracy High School, across from McDonald’s and sharing a parking lot with Center Appliances. We are open Monday through Thursday, 9am to 6pm, and closed Friday through Sunday. You can request an appointment through the form on this page at any hour and we will follow up.

Call us at (209) 830-1799 and describe it. The conditions listed on this page are what we see most often, not the full range of what we treat, and the underlying problems overlap more than the labels suggest. If your situation is genuinely outside what we do, we would rather tell you that on the phone than have you come in for an appointment that was never going to help.

Yes, and that conversation brings a lot of people through our door. Being told you need a joint replacement or spinal surgery is not the same as being out of options, and our entire approach is non-surgical. We will evaluate you honestly and tell you what we believe we can do for you. If we do not think we can help, we will say so rather than start a plan.

It depends on the service and on how long the problem has been building. Some plans run a few weeks and others run longer, and something you have lived with for years generally takes more than something that started last month. Your provider gives you a specific number and a schedule after your evaluation, then reviews it with you as you go rather than leaving it fixed.

Not always, and not for every service. If you already have recent X-rays, an MRI, or nerve studies, bring them, because they save time and sharpen the plan. If your evaluation points to something we cannot see clearly without imaging, your provider will explain what is needed and why before recommending treatment.

Injections and infusions, including PRP, Prolozone®, trigger point injections, and IV ozone, are performed by Dr. Joseph Sclafani, M.D., QME or Megan O’Connor, MSN, FNP-BC. Chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy, and spinal decompression sessions are performed by Dr. Lina Yousofi, D.C. When your plan draws on both sides, they coordinate it as one plan rather than two separate courses of treatment.

All three are performed by Dr. Joseph Sclafani, M.D., QME or Megan O’Connor, MSN, FNP-BC. PRP concentrates the growth factors from your own blood and places them into damaged tissue to support repair. Prolozone® combines medical-grade ozone with nutrients and is injected into a joint or the soft tissue around it to reduce inflammation and improve the local conditions for healing. IV ozone goes into the bloodstream rather than a joint, so it is used to support circulation and overall wellness rather than to target one painful area.

They solve different problems and often work well together. Chiropractic adjustments, performed by Dr. Lina Yousofi, D.C., restore movement to joints that have stopped moving properly and relieve pressure on irritated nerves. Spinal decompression uses our FDA-cleared SpineMed® table to gently separate the vertebrae and reduce pressure inside a specific disc. Adjustments address how your spine moves. Decompression addresses what is pressing on the nerve.

Yes, and most plans work exactly that way. It is also the thing that separates us from clinics built around a single signature treatment. A painful knee might get regenerative injections along with bracing and attention to the mechanics above and below the joint. A low back might get decompression, adjustments, and soft tissue work. Combining therapies is not padding the plan, it is what makes the individual pieces hold.

That is what the evaluation is for, and arriving without an answer to it is completely normal. We take your history, examine you, and work out what is actually generating the pain rather than simply where you feel it. Your providers recommend a plan from there. Most patients do not end up picking one service off a menu, they end up with a combination chosen for their specific problem.
